Projects
Association of Sierra Leonean Organizations in Texas (ASLOT) has various charity projects for impoverished communities in need of immediate help. We also accept volunteers who will mobilize these projects:
- EBOLA ORPHANS
- HEALTHCARE
- SPONSORSHIP FOR FREE EDUCATION: Knowledge is power. We want to exercise everyone’s right to free education. Families are put into screening and tests to see if they are eligible to obtain our scholarship. Only the poorest of the poor will be able to be granted free scholarship.
- DISASTER RELIEF: Natural disasters such us floods, typhoon, earthquakes, tornados and the like are acts of mother nature that we cannot stop. People who are victims of natural calamities need immediate help. Food, clothing and clean water are primarily the first things they will ever need.
- VOLUNTEER WORK: Every pair of helping hands is really needed in our work for charity. We need your time and strength to help hand out help as soon as we can. Contact us and join the quest of charity work at dfwcommunity@aslot.org.
